2012 Sea Chart to Success

I have a hell of a lot of RPGs (very loosely defined) that I want to play. I hope to visit some of these lands in the next year.

Holy crap, are you kidding me? I just took a look at your past blogs and realized I've been reading this for 4 years now?!!

Damn time flies. Anyway, I wish you much success in 2012 in all your endeavers and of course, with cutting down the back log.

For my own back log problems, I thought about banning myself from buying anymore games until May but that lasted all of 6 days.

Yeah, man, time flies. And we're getting old, quick. It's fucking scary.

Why were you thinking of banning purchases until May? And what did you buy? lol

You really need to get back to Dark Souls this year. I know you are busy and I am in the same boat. Married, career, two kids, etc. But I became completely obsessed with Dark Souls in the last few months. I finished the game and now I'm doing another play through and experimenting with making some YouTube videos.

Check out my early attempts if you have the time as I would love feedback. Most importantly start playing again!

Dark Souls Videos

Have a great new year.

Nice, I checked out your Capra Demon video, since that's where I'm at right now in Dark Souls. Didn't want to spoil the Gaping Dragon.

I do need to get back to that game. I think I'm going to have to put Fallout 3 on hold like I did Dark Souls because it's just consuming my life right now. I've got 30 hours played in just the last couple of weeks...

I've got several other games unfinished that are bugging me, and I might try to kill one of them: Bioshock 2, Batman: AA, Max Payne, and Dead Space. None of them are super long, so it shouldn't be a big deal, and I'm at least a couple hours into all of them...

Dude, tell me about it, I'm almost 40 years old. Fuck...

Anyway, I picked up Rayman Origins and an excercise game (Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012) since those were on sale and I'm a little interested. I've heard nothing but good things about Rayman and the art style looks pretty amazing.
